Terms and conditions of the "Leader of the Future" poll

I. Basic Arrangements

1. This document sets out the basic terms and conditions of the survey called "Leader of the Future" (hereinafter referred to as "survey"), i.e. the basic conditions of who can be nominated for the poll, how the voting for the winner takes place, what are the conditions for selecting the winner of the poll, what award the winner of the poll will receive and how the prize will be handed over to him/her.
2. The organiser of the survey is Business Club Empiria 21 s.r.o., ID: 03508366, with registered office: Hlavní 1539, Horní Jirčany, 252 42 Jesenice, a company registered in the Commercial Register kept by the Municipal Court in Prague, Section C, Insert 232396 (hereinafter referred to as "Organiser").

4. The survey is part of the conference entitled "Leaders of the Future", which is organized by the organizer and will take place on 8 October 2024 at the Lobkowicz Palace at Prague Castle in Prague.
5. By participating in the poll, candidates for winning the poll (hereinafter referred to as "Candidates"), persons nominating candidates and persons voting in the poll undertake to comply with these conditions.
6. The Organiser reserves the right to change these conditions at any time. Any changes will be published on the website of the organiser www.c-level.cz.
7. The organizer reserves the right to cancel or interrupt the poll at any time.
8. The Promoter is entitled to decide any disputed issues regarding the conduct of the poll at its discretion.
9. The Organiser is entitled to contact candidates, persons nominating candidates and persons voting in the poll on matters relating to the poll during the poll.

II. Conditions for participation in the survey

1. Only people who meet the following conditions can be nominated for the survey:
   1. are over 18 years of age and fully competent,
   2. are resident in the Czech Republic,
   3. are leaders (i.e., leaders and inspirational and personalities) in a variety of fields.
2. The Organizer reserves the right to exclude from the poll candidates whom it has found or reasonably suspects of not meeting the conditions for participation in the poll or of violating these conditions. The Organiser shall also be entitled to exclude from the poll candidates who behave offensively towards the Organiser or otherwise act in a manner contrary to the principles of good behaviour and good manners or otherwise damage the good name of the Organiser.
3. Anyone can nominate a candidate. There is no limit to the number of people a person can nominate.
4. Anyone can vote in the poll, each person can only vote for one candidate in the poll.

III. Date and place of the survey

1. Nominations can be made between 20.4 and 30.6.2024.
2. Voting for the winner of the poll will take place from 1 July to 30 September 2024.
3. The evaluation of the survey will take place by 5 October 2024.
4. The nomination of candidates and the voting in the poll is carried out on the website: www.c-level.cz (hereinafter referred to as "website").

III. Principle of the survey

a) Nomination of a candidate

1. You can nominate a candidate by filling in the nomination form on the website. The condition for submitting a valid nomination is the completion of all the required information in the form, followed by an email confirmation from the sender of the nomination.
2. Upon receipt of the nomination form by the organizer, the organizer will send an email to the nominated person informing them that they have been nominated in the poll and asking them to agree to be included in the poll.
3. The nominee will only be included in the poll if he or she explicitly agrees to be included in the poll. The condition for inclusion of a person among the candidates in the poll is their nomination and at the same time the nominee's explicit consent to inclusion in the poll and consent to these poll conditions and the personal data processing policy published by the organizer.
4. If the information on the form is incorrect or incomplete, the candidate is entitled to request that it be corrected. 

b) Voting in the poll

1. The organiser will publish the list of candidates on the website. Each candidate's name, surname and company name will be listed.
2. Voting for a candidate can be done by clicking on the button next to the candidate's name. You can only vote once from each email address.
3. The number of votes given to candidates is not publicly available until the day the poll is announced.
4. The Organiser reserves the right not to count in the evaluation of the poll those votes which it has found or reasonably suspects to have been cast by a person who has voted more than once in the poll. For the avoidance of doubt, the organiser states that the first vote a person casts for a candidate in the poll is counted as valid.

IV. Evaluation of the poll and announcement of the winners

1. The winners of the poll will be the 3 candidates who receive the most votes during the voting process.
2. The Promoter will announce the winner on the website and will also contact the winner via email.
3. Each of the winners will receive free entry for themselves to the "Leaders of the Future" conference including the gala evening, which will take place on 8 October 2024 at the Lobkowicz Palace at Prague Castle in Prague.
4. The winners will be awarded the prize by sending tickets to the conference referred to in paragraph 3 of these terms and conditions to their email addresses and will receive the Leader of the Future award during the conference.
5. In the event that the winner refuses to accept the prize, the Promoter will not select an alternate winner. In the event of refusal to accept the prize, the prize will be forfeited without any compensation.
6. There is no legal entitlement to win the survey. The winners are not entitled to claim from the Promoter any monetary or other consideration in lieu of the prize.

V. Personal data

1. By involving candidates, persons nominating candidates and voting in the poll, the organiser has the right to process the personal data of the aforementioned persons to the extent necessary for the conduct of the poll in accordance with these terms and conditions. These terms and conditions will take effect on 14.4.2024.
